In collaboration with Kyle of The Fab Forums under his KillFab brand we are introducing a Motorsports Mix of tungsten electrodes. This mix is perfect for the occasional TIG welder that needs to have the right tungsten for a variety of work materials.
The mix includes:
4pcs of 3/32” 2% Lanthanated (Blue)
3pcs of 3/32” Rare Earth Blend (Purple)
3pcs of 3/32” 2% Ceriated (Grey)
Whether you’re using AC/DC, inverter or transformer, this mix allows you to have the perfect tungsten at your fingertips. Useful for aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, nickel alloys, copper alloys, titanium alloys, low-alloyed steels, and non-corrosive steels. Check out our tungsten selection chart here: Selection Chart
About Kyle and the Fab Forums (from his YouTube Channel):
My name is Kyle Voss and I produce Custom Motorsports Fabrication content of all forms. Carbon Fiber, TIG Welding, Metal Shaping, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Custom Choppers, and everything in between. I work hard to bring you new content on a weekly basis. Here are some of the builds you can find on this channel.
I have built several Chevy trucks. The first was my 1964 C10 named Crown Spoyal and the most recent C10 truck project was the 1969 named the Black Pearl.
I am also finishing up a custom twin turbo Ford Mustang build I call the Gray Goose. It’s a 400 cubic inch Windsor style engine with twin 70mm turbos.
Last but not least is the one off custom hot rod build called the Bibbster. This is what I call a modern day hot rod. It’s made from a 1988 Ford Mustang that I chopped and narrowed. Everything else including the chassis and suspension has been built from scratch.
