Our Chrome Plated Tungsten Rods provide superior results when evaporating chromium. Each rod is coated with pure chromium with a half-inch left uncoated on each side for electrical connection. The plated rods provide faster evaporation and reduces the spitting that occurs when using a pellet form to evaporate chromium.
